Mark Eastwood has been taking part in UK Parliament Week activities in our local primary schools.
Schools and youth groups up and down the country have been learning more about how our democracy works and taking part in the activities organised by Parliament's education team.
Mark went along to Denby Dale First and Nursery School and Kayes First School to meet some future MPs and answer their probing questions on everything from how he became a Member of Parliament, what the best part about his job was, and even his favourite type of sweets.
The budding young politicians weren't just putting their hands up politely though - aided by Mr Speaker Bear, Mark helped them to take part in a Mock Parliament session, and encouraged the children to "bob" to ask questions as they would in the House of Commons.
